Beno Udrih will return from a sprained ankle suffered on November 30 when the Milwaukee Bucks take on the Brooklyn Nets tonight, according to the Milwaukee Bucks PR Department’s Official Twitter Account:

Beno Udrih returns tonight. Bucks offense this season with Beno: 98.0 ppg and 45.1 FG% (92.2 ppg and 40.6 FG% without him).

The Journal Sentinel reported that Udrih went through practice with the team on Christmas Eve.

What’s that mean? For starters, probably fewer minutes for Doron Lamb. Lamb has handled virtually all of the backup guard duties in Udrih’s absence. In the 12 games Milwaukee was without Udrih, Lamb averaged 15 minutes per game, 3.8 points and 1 assist per game. He shot 19-for-61 (31.2%) from the field, 2-for-9 (22%) from three and 6-for-13 (46.2%) from the free throw line.

The shooting touch that was so fondly spoke of when Milwaukee drafted the rookie out of Kentucky was largely absent, as Lamb was forced to attack off the dribble and handle the ball more than anyone ever expected him to this year. It’s difficult to envision Lamb getting more than garbage time minutes for the foreseeable future, unless Scott Skiles was more excited about his play than numbers would indicate he will be.

Predictions? Thoughts? Comments?

I'm glad to see that Beno is coming back, but I'm not sure if he will be a big factor in this game tonight. He's just coming back and god only knows what coach Skiles is going to do with him. Hopefully he will get it going tonight and be ready for the Heat game this saturday!

Scott Skiles said before Milwaukee's game Saturday against the Cavs that Larry Sanders pretty much decides when he's going to have a good game. It's all his energy. A couple of early dunks and a layup tonight. Energy looks up.

Sometimes it seems like Ellis has an ability as a passer that Jennings rarely, if ever, flashes. Each of his assists tonight has led to an easy basket, mostly for Larry Sanders. Not sure Jennings makes a few of those passes.

The Bucks brand of basketball is very sloppy. Sometimes I wish the Bucks had an offensive identity; too many times it seems they just dribble around pass the ball and shoot with no real purpose

Especially rough night on the sloppy side thus far. Six turnovers? That's gotta be one of the highest quarter totals this season.

Here's something you won't get anywhere else: Udoh just took a jumper and one person in the section next to where the media sits yelled out, "EKPE!" in a pretty excited fashion. Of course, he missed. But it's funny that one person in the building believed he was going to hit it.

Ersan Ilyasova: Owner of the I AM NOT INTERESTED IN TAKING THIS LAYUP AND I THINK I'M GOING TO GET BLOCKED BUT I GUESS I'LL TAKE IT ANYWAY layup.

Halftime entertainment is a giant game of Simon Says. Except it's a guy with spikey hair and it's SIMON SEZ. This SIMON has ATTITUDE. It's as fun as it sounds.

When I was much younger my dad took me to a game and the halftime show was the Blue Man Group. I thought it was the greatest thing I had ever seen and for two straight years I dressed as a group member for Halloween. I wonder if SIMON SEZ is similarly inspiring young children. (I secretly hope he isn't)

It seems pretty unlikely.

But Monta Ellis might be. His last charge notwithstanding, this is one of his better games as a passer. Really making some nice feeds and reads all night long.

If they ever need to get the energy up with a halftime show, all they need is Larry Sanders to run out to half court, wave his arms up and down and act like a hooligan. That would be priceless, though it's obviously not going to happen.

He would really just need to foul someone. Everyone always seems to enjoy that.

Tyshawn Taylor looks downright impressive sometimes. Crazy quick and just hit a big three. If Milwaukee were to pursue some sort of insane deal with the Nets, he'd be a guy I'd like to see them get somehow. Of course, I'm basing all of this off the roughly 3 minutes that I've seen him play. But he just looked so quick.

I like how Ersan is playing tonight, hit a 3 a few mins ago where he shot it right away with no hesitation, would be nice to see more of that from him

Okay, Monta has hit three threes. That's just insane. This has to rank as one of the Bucks most complete efforts, from Ilyasova to Sanders to Ellis to Jennings. Not much to complain about here.

Yep great game. I love Dunleavy's production off the bench and besides the turnovers we looked extremely solid tonight against a talented (admittedly under performing) Nets squad.

I love/hate these games because they are essentially a cocktease of what BJellis is capable of on any given night, even if Dwill wasn't playing

This game doesn't surprise me at all. I'm starting to really think the Bucks will make the playoffs. not because they are that good but, they keep beating the other average teams in the conference Brooklyn, Indiana and Boston.
