Okay, I've been defending Ellis this entire season, but after single handily shooting the Bucks out of the game vs. Denver, I want him gone. The Pacers have a budding Paul George playing Danny Granger's position. With Granger coming back in the coming weeks, they may be worried that Granger will stunt George's growth. I say the Bucks package Ellis and some expiring contracts for Granger and whoever the Pacers would like to trade. Thoughts?
Danny Granger?

I think thats a good trade!!! And here it works on Trade Machine.
And what do you guys think of Ellis for Derek Williams?? Or do you think we giving away too much and not getting enough in return? heres the trade on trade machine.

Problem with Granger for Ellis trade is that we gain another SF the same size as LRMBM and loose a guy that scores the same amount of points per game (even if less efficient) and now we are woefully short of back-court players.
We would have to have another trade in addition to this Granger isn't that "POWER" forward/center that we need either.

Ellis for Derek Williams is interesting, but they need to throw in someone like Luke Ridnour in order for the trade/dollars to work.
We get Luke and Williams for Ellis? Haven't seen anything else that grabs me. Not an All Star like getting Kevin Love, but we all know the chance of Bucks buying one of those anyway.

LRMBM is not a long term solution. He doesnt score very well, pass very well, and his athleticism is less than stellar. I think SF is our weakest position. Tobias doesn't see the floor and well you know what I think of LRMBM. Which leaves Dunleavy. I do love Dunleavy but he can't hold the SF position by himself. Granger would be perfect. And I get the feeling the Pacers are not completely set on Granger.
Here is the DWill n Luke Ridnour for Monta. I like this trade alot!!

I don't know how it'd work in terms of salary or anything, but I wouldn't mind the Bucks making a deal with the Magic that'd send us either JJ Redick or even Aaron Afflalo. Both players are more appropriately sized for the SG position, both are capable defensive players, and Redick in particular would be fantastic with his ability to move the basketball and drain the three point shot.

we need someone who can attack the basket and get easy points, ellis is far better than both of those options and hes probably a better defender than both

...Yeah. I'm going to just pretend I didn't read that last part, because you're really just showing that you know absolutely nothing about Redick or Afflalo. Woooow.

You think Ellis is a better defender than Afflalo? Afflalo is a lock-down defender...
I'd love to get Afflalo somehow, but it seems like Redick is more realistic.

i was more so aiming that at reddick cause thats the trade talked about, afflalo doesnt bring anything offensively so really doesnt matter we dont need another luc richard or marquis daniels, god you people are savages
Doesn't bring anything offensively? Apart from his rookie year, he's been anywhere from decent to great from three point range, shooting 40% or higher from three in four of his six seasons, three of those years in which he was taking 3 a game. That's nothing to scoff at offensively.
His TS% has also been remarkably high throughout most of his career. He's having a down year right now, though that could have more to do with the fact that he's playing on a bad Magic team where he's one of the few legitimate offensive options. In Milwaukee, where other guys can pick up the slack and keep teams from focusing so much on him defensively, his efficiency should go right back up.

coming from the same person who didnt think delfino would help our team now, they are almost the exact type of player so just stop

Except Afflalo is better defensively, is younger, better at getting to the free throw line, and his TS% blows Delfino's out of the water.
And if you can't bring something to the table without coming off like a jackass, then don't comment at all.
