Deron Williams is at a low point in his career. If he was a stock. I wouldn't hesitate to go all in. At this point, he is only going to get better, especially because he is committed to regaining his step. Brooklyn doesn't want him. We should go get him!

Brooklyn DOES want Ersan Illyasova. Look, I love Ersan and I think he is foundation piece, but I would take Deron Williams over him anyday.

Heres the trade: http://espn.go.com/n...tradeId=dyaqhny

If you can't see it I will summarize. Bucks get Deron Williams, Andray Blatche. Nets get Illaysova and Ellis.

That's an AWFUL trade for Brooklyn. They're not going to give up on Deron, at least not this quickly. He's still the face of the franchise. He and Brook are probably the only two players on the team that are truly untouchable.

Yeah that's never going to happen. Unless we would do something like BJ, Monta, Ersan for Deron and Marshon Brooks. But I'm not sure that would even work financially, or if Brooklyn would ever even think about it.

I guess financially it works, according to ESPN's Trade Machine. But yeah, they wouldn't entertain the notion of that trade, either. They're not giving up on Williams that quickly. Though I will say, they would have GREAT depth.

PG: Jennings/Watson

SG: Johnson/Ellis

SF: Wallace/Johnson

PF: Ilyasova/Evans/Wallace

C: Lopez/Blatche

They could match up with nearly any team in the league in terms of playing big, or going small ball.

I think the Nets would be the winners if that was the trade

Honestly I wouldn't give up much for DWill. The guy isn't a leader, doesn't respond well to good tough coaches, doesn't respect weak coaches, forced his way out of another small market, and is playing piss poor basketball right now. He's out of shape and despite being extremely talented I don't see him as a guy that has the passion to be great or improve much more than what he is. Right now I don't have him as a top 10 PG.

All that said I don't think Brooklyn is pushing too hard to move him. I also believe that they would still require a king's ransom to get him.
