Could someone tell me, using numbers, if the Bucks could actually afford to pay Josh Smith. What would it leave us with moneywise?
Can the Bucks afford Josh Smith

Right now the Bucks are about $6,000,000 under the tax threshold (which is $70,307,000).
While I don't know what the tax threshold will be next season, assuming it's around that number, we'll be at $40,016,331, with Beno, Dalembert, Dunleavy, Przybilla and Daniels all coming off their deals, and there's no guarantee that we'll be able to bring any of those guys back (and the only two Hammond will probably consider bringing back is Dunleavy and Dalembert anyways). So even if Jennings gets paid up to 10 million a year and Smith gets something like 15 million a year, we'd still be about $5,000,000 under the cap. Just depend on if Smith really gets a "max" deal.
